Personality: Grumpy is an understatement; he is downright angry. After all, 10000 years of bullshit is enough to make you just a little bit frustrated. He is cold, rash, stubborn and a jerk, but don't go telling him that if you value your life slightly. He tends to be too loud due to the fact that he is deaf; hates it when people think he is stupid because they aren't pronouncing words properly (reads lips but can only do so if the person is actually enunciating words).
The one thing that might just make a slight smile curl upon his lips are children; he loves kids to bits. Having a tough childhood does that to you.

Gender: Female for now, she could be either.

Age: Looks about 7-9 years old at this present moment, but in reality she is as old as life itself.

Personality: She is very happy go lucky type of child, but somehow she seems to know a little too much for her age. She enjoys stating the truth of things, even though they might be a little blunt at times. She can be the sweetest child you have ever met, or she could be the creepiest one as well.

Background: She has been around since the beginning of life, and so knows alot about the planet we life on. She has seen the rise and fall of the dinosaurs, the rise and soon to fall of mankind.

Name: Destiny

Gender: Female

Age: About early 20s. She herself does not know. (3rd Generation in the Pit)

Personality: Despite her 6'2" stature, Destiny appears to be quiet. In fact she isn't that quiet, she just gives off this impression while she watches people. Watching people, observing behaviour, and picking up on patterns. It is what she does best. She only seems quiet because due to the memory gap, Destiny is able to understand language but has a very hard time stringing words into a comprehensible sentence. This gap in language makes her seem awkward and shy, gives people the impression that she is socially autistic. But her creature type is a very sociable. You can imagine what that leads to; frustration at people who treat her like a child, and downright anger to being denied some social contact.
Sometimes, on lesser days, she may have a hard time understanding various typical human tones; sarcasm, for instance, may be a great challenge for her to understand.
She is rather possesive when it comes to people; she will protect them like a dog would protect his bone. As for materialism, she has none of that. Heck, she doesn't even own any clothe.
There is also this lingering note of what kept her alive in the lab; she tends to be a "teacher's pet", always striving to make her superiors satisfied, happy if you will. This is a basic survival skill she learned in her past, and seemingly has not abbandonned the habit. As for people she finds are below her on the food chain, she will treat them like so, constanly revoking their attempts in authority, and occasionnally putting a foot down on behavior that she finds unnacceptable.
If a person doesn't make a positive impression on her, she will ignore them, or consider them as lesser beings, and will treat them like so.

Note: Do not corner her while she is in fear; instincts may kick in and completely obliterate you.

Note: She understands english and only english. Even a small accent will create confusion, unless she had been exposed to it in the past.

Appearance: This is an updated picture of her looks. Ain't she dainty? Annnnnnd for the next one, don't ask me how, don't ask me why. It just is.

Background: 40 years ago, scientists around the world linked forces to develop a powerful bio-weapon: they called it Project -idunnothenameyet-. Almost every country's government gave money in the hopes that the scientists would be able to produce such an organism. There was only one rule; it must be made from scratch.
With the millions of dollars that poured in, the technology advanced quickly and they were able to make it in less than two years. Here is a direct quote from one the scientists' journals;

"-The creature is perfect. It is tall, very muscular build, three clawed fingers and a clawed opposable thumb. It has one very large heart, giving it plenty of stamina. We made it run for over 3 hours yesterday before we got tired of watching it. It has a stucture in its gut similar to the caecum of a koala making it able to digest cellulose, something humans are unable to do.
-It has a very efficient metabolism, can digest practically anything for that matter, and uses almost all the organic material possible. Proof: excrements are the size of rabbit pellets, further analysis showed that only few organic mateials were left.
-Spiked, prehensile tail gives it great balance.
-We can only speculate that it has a long lifespan.
-Highly intelligent. Can probably becomne as smart (if not smarter) than a human."

But something happened. When government officials went to visit the creature, it grinned at the scientists, and killed the people. It was declared dangerous by all of the countries, and had to be put down. Only a few cells were frozen for preservation, and kept to be used only in emergencies.
About 19 years ago, some other scientists found the frozen cells and brought them to their lab. Already having another project in hand they left them in the freezer.
Recently a young scientist, bound to a wheelchair and fascinated by creatures, found the cells, and descided to bring this creature back. The cells were old, and only part of the DNA from the nucleaus of those cells could be used. He descided to recombine the DNA of the creature to that of a human.
After four failed attempts it finally worked, making a human hybrid. She was called Destiny, and released into the pit.

The only memory she holds is the young man, sitting in a wheelchair in front of her, waggling his finger and smiling.

Name: Eustine "Said" Logan

Gender: Male. Definitely male.

Age: He's 53. Old man. Kinda gross.

Personality: Typical, old, adrenaline junky Aussie. He's very similar to one of those uncles you would not want at your party, but he shows up anyways, and stinks up the place. He has this tendency to make his guests or people around him uncomfortable, maybe it's because he smells, maybe it's because of his crazy strong Aussie accent, or maybe it's just because he is a complete sociopath/psychopath. Back in Australia, he had a shack (cuz it really is a shack) in the middle of bum fuck no-where. People who get lost in the wilderness often come by his place. He, being a creeper, offers them a place to stay until they figure out where they are. One one condition; that they work for him. Doing hard manual labor. If not, it'll be his pick weather he lets them die in the desert or kill them with his shovel. He has this insatiable hunger for killing people that are lost. Then he very often will keep something for a treat, and bury the rest. He has done this countless times, and clearly enjoys himself a little too much.

Appearance: 5'10", average height. He has a definite greenish tinge to his already olive skin. Sandy, slowly graying, short, greasy brown hair, unclean and permanent 5 o'clock shadow, of the same color as his hair. His teeth are long and sharp, of jagged lengths, a crocodilian mouth. Slightly gaunt face, with high cheekbones and an angular jaw. He has narrow, sharp and jagged stare, complete with nasty shit brown eyes, and a slightly yellowed glare. He looks like the beginning of a meth addict, but isn't. Even though he is slightly older, his body is fit, with quite muscular upper body, from years of lifting things and doing hard work in the outback. His hands are rough and calloused, and his nails -shudder- are slightly longer, with a definite black undertone. As thought they were getting ready to rot off.
In the pit, he would work as a professional bounty hunter. His typical attire would be an old, fading leather jacket, a dirty, yellowing wife beater, pale and worn jeans, a pair of tough working boots and the traditional and mandatory tan Australian hat, with one side folded up. It has a ring of teeth around it (human teeth too), and a badge that hold the flap up. Me thinks he killed an Australian soldier for that hat. He also wears a bright red bandanna around his face (mandatory requirement to keep other stalkers and scientists from catching any diseases from him). Oh. And don't forget the small leather rucksack and shovel he always has on his back. He likes his shovel.

Background: He was raised in the outback, has always lived in the outback, and will die in the outback. He was raised in a normal Australian family, in the wilderness, a typical hick type family. Live in the boonies, not a worry in the world. They were a family of sociopaths. It's in his blood. As is cannibalism.
One day people just kinda started fading away, life is tough but you pull through, and now all that's left is him.
He just works for the pit scientists occasionally to get a little money for himself and his shack. He is generally neutral, and however reaches him first will have the authority over him. He doesn't care if it's moral or not.

Classification: Genetic. He is HIGHLY toxic. Poisonous if you will. Like a komodo dragon, his mouth is a wasteland for bacteria, his skin constantly oozes some disgusting concoction of various chemicals that his body naturally produces. He is gross, all his clothe have a slight sickly yellow tinge, as to his teeth (which are all razor sharp BTW, just like a crocodile). Oh yeah, and did I mention he smells like a thousand rotting skunk corpses that have baked in hot humid weather, soaked in bad milk and a myriad of chemicals, locked in a very small room for a year? Well yea. That's what he smells like.
