Yanni the Russian

Personality:
Yanni is thick and dumb, but loves a good laugh. Having been born in Russia, conscripted into their army and then illegally immigrated into the U.S. his English is poor and he does not understand the American culture what goes on around him. Yanni is laid back, tends to do what he is told as this was how he was brought up, but he has the knack of getting into serious trouble. Yanni tends to be a law onto himself, generally tends to be on the wrong side just trying to make a decent profit. Yanni loves guns and violence, he is a typical male who's motto in life is "shit happens". Yanni has nightmares about being back in 'soviet' Russia, and is afraid
of anything that has to do with his home country coming back to get him.He has a 0 tolerance policy for anybody who fucks with him, notably anyone who dares to shoot at him, most people who do wined up being dead.~

Yanni's tic responds to his partner's presence. When she is around it is calm and soothing which is good to counter balance Yanni's enormous temper and his need for nicotine via cigarettes. when she inst around, his tic immediately becomes agitated and secrets chemicals into his body which causes him anxiety, to which is sufficiently countered by his smoking habits. As we all know prolonged separation will lead to death, but Yanni will notice this acutely right away as he will feel like utter shit.

Appearance:
Yanni is a massive man of a man, built like a Russian tank and with the personality to match. He is always wearing his old Siberian Russian uniform, which consists of a greatcoat with many many pockets, a Russian woolly cap with a red star on it, a pair of RayBan sunglasses that he wears at all times and his trademark cigarettes which he smokes 3 at a time every time. He is 6' 3" white as white could be, chiseled features with a wide broad face and nose, his hands are the size of a small person's foot, he has brown eyes and brown hair.

His tick is located in the center of his chest in between his pecs, his tic is a deep dark red and has a very metalic texture.


Background:
Yanni is an illegal immigrant to the US, he originated in Russia and had served in the Siberian army regiment. After stowing away on a boat and being rescued by his younger brother Max who lives in the states, Yanni got to work as a gun and drug runner based out of the basement of his brother's pizza shop in Rochester.


Classification: Magnetic Body-Armor.
Yanni's ability to turn himself into a giant magnet and attract metal towards him is usefull and has many applications.
Foremost he uses it as a kind of body armor summoning it to him to cover himself from head to foot in a protective layer of scrap. Now the idea of having a room full of sharp rusty metal flying at you sounds like a hazard rather than something useful, but with Yanni's big Greatcoat which is built for cold Russian winters is tough enough to withstand most rusty objects.
Secondly, instead of lazily using his magnetism powers on the room as a whole, he can focus his powers on individual body parts and at different strengths. This would be usefull for say he dropped on of his guns and wanted to *omg jedi mind powers wtfbbq* pull it towards his hand.
Another good use of this ability to attract specific objects is that he could for YANK REAL HARD on an object and pull it towards him... only to let go and have it sail on by him maybe even at an opponent.
His powers when used in this finessed way requires a bit more concentration in order to manipulate correctly, but summoning a room full of junk to shield his body in scrap is fairly easy to do.

Personality:
Eamon is bright and intelligent, not much of a drinker but he can hold his own. Quite and reserved, but not shy when it comes to dealing with people and with the amount of shit he has seen in the force, he can master himself despite his reservations. Law abiding and heavily weighed by personal morals which govern his every decision but is restrained by his inability to do anything for himself and often finds that he will do anything for someone else if they ask it of him.

His tick responds to his partner's stress by contracting the muscles around it, which is quite painful at times depending on his partner's stress. It is most pronounced when Edgar is in danger and in cases such as these Eamon's tick responding in this way allows him to focus and he is much harder to get knocked around.

Appearance:
Short in stature at 5 foot nothing, skinny down to the bone, almost malnourished due to being below the poverty line. Pale skin spotted with freckles with faded orange hair and a set of emerald eyes to boot.


Background:
Eamon is an Irish immigrant who came to America when he was just a babe. Eamon and his only brother Rory were raised by their drunk father who suffered from chronic depression after the rest of their family had perished when their ship sank on its journey to America. These events influenced the two brothers to move to Rochester where they, like all teenagers, got into trouble with the law. However rather than fight the power, they decided to join up and get paid for their hard work. Although in joining the Rochester police force they did not completely give up their criminal tendencies. While Rory was a prime example of crooked cop, Eamon's version of dissent was more curtailed to his particulate brand of justice. Almost a Vigilante of sorts, he upheld what laws he found were just and either ignored or cut people breaks on ones he felt were "retarded". Eamon has a healthy sense of curiosity that lead to him being assigned the position of detective as there were unfortunate vacancies to be filled. Still young and reliant on his elder brother for guidance, Eamon seems to have everything going his way... till one dark day...


Classification: Psychic: object-based Clairvoyance
Basically Eamon has Clairvoyance, where he can pick up an object and 'see' into its past. What he sees is an event, specifically an event that occured between the object and a human, or an event that happened where the object was present and in some way interacted with a human. His visions are dependant on two factors, how much time has past from when Eamon uses Clairvoyance on an object and the event that occured, and how strong of an emotional imprint the person left on it. This results in varying degrees of fog will obscure his vision when he uses Clairvoyance. The only thing that helps clear the vision is how much of an emotional impact the human had on the object. For example, somone who touches a door is rather insignificant and will fade rather quickly so Eamon would have to touch it probably within a few hours of the other person passing through. Similarly a cigarette while seeming to be rather insignigicant would leave a stronger emotional imprint as it give much needed satisfaction to the person who needs it's nichoteen. Also things like family heirlooms or other significantly important items would leave a strong imprint, objects like these Eamon can see very clearly. As far as the vision goes, it is not first person from anyone, but rather an observative 3rd person view of the scene as a whole. Eamon's vision does not happen in realtime, it happens in a flash, most of his time is spent concentrating on trying to goad his Clairvoyance powers into finding something of value in an object. This power is physically straining on Eamon, and the more powerfull the emotional impact the more it wears him out (for example someone who died would exhaust him completely). So how quickly he will burn himself out is related to the emotional stress of the memory and then to recover takes an entire day of rest.

Background:
Margret is a small town girl, brought up in a shelterd home where she never was exposed to the evils of the world. Her father was a military man, and she loved him dearly, he installed in her his values, teaching her of how she was to be so proud living in the best country in the world. He also filled her with stories about the cold war, and the great and deadly threat of communism, and how Russia was the root of all evil in the world.

Her father perished in a covert mission some years later, this traumatized her permanently and left her deranged: she could only assume to blame it on Russia and this thought consumes her.

Joining the military Academy as soon as she could, she received training as a covert intelligence operative. Her goal was to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of her father and hopefully get deploy to eastern Europe. While in the Academy she learned useful espionage and spying tactics such as how to make homeade explosives and to how to hide in plain site. However she dismally failed in learning how to speak Russian and other East European languages. Also her emotional instability and pure hate for Russians blinded her training. She was failed out of the Academy. She vowed to go over seas and find her father anyway... but she never got the chance, falling into the world of the Pit shortly after discharge.

Now with her implant and a screwed up mind, she wanders the pit in confusion. For she now thinks its the cold war again, but not cold but blazing hot! and that the poor state of the Pit is some bombed out remains of a once glorious city. It's Russia's fault, they did this, they are to blame. Her poor mind unable to see any other possibility. It Russia, they were invading her glorious country and she would stop at nothing to protect it. Further more as she encounters the strange people of the pit she notices the varying different abilities and understands their potential value in a conflict of war.

The Russian's had to be stopped, they couldn't be allowed to get ahold of this technology, she had to stop them. She would kill them all and burn Moscow to the ground...

Personality:
Lee is quiet and reserved, he is very critical of himself and the world around him. He has been through the mill which tends to lead to him always giving the impression that he is bitter and sour about life. He is the sort of guy that would lend a hand to those in need and part with wisdom when appropriate. He almost never smiles, as he does not find many things to be happy about, he eeks grumpiness. He has a complex for being prim and proper, priding himself as being a gentleman and having a code of conduct, he is very proud and is easily offended. His favorite past time is to sit around and do nothing but musing over issues that he keeps bottled up in his mind.


Appearance:
Tall 5' 11", lanky and malnourished. He usually wears a suit with his trademark top-hat, what kind of suit does not matter so long as he feels that he looks proper for being in public. He has a metal cane which he needs to lean on to take the weight off of his left leg, which had it's ligaments cut around the knee in some fight to which he cannot recall. Similarly his left eye was superficially cut, it is still intact but the retina was damaged which causes his vision through it to be altered. Probably the leading cause to his pain is the fact that his leg muscle is bunched in the other end of his leg due to the ligament being cut, this is quite painful. His left eye was removed by the scientists without his knowing and replaced with an all ruby eye, this is covered by his normal eye-lid, which has some pink scaring but looks normal. He keeps his left eye shut by default, he can't really see "things" through it... but he can see "people".


Background:
He cannot remember his past whatsoever, who he was, what his last name was his family and work. All he knows is that he is in allot of pain, that he has allot of historical knowledge and some sort of military training, but for what he has no idea. His life might be gone but he still has his hobbies.


Classification: Coercion
Lee's ruined left eye has been modified with a new eye, that gives him the power of Coercion, the ability to command other people to a certain degree. His power is limited, it requires eye contact and for him to make a verbal command (in italics). This command is more like a suggestion, where a highly intelligent or psychic person would be able to resist the idea if it was absurd or does not make any sense and it would not work on this type of person frequently. Where as a dumb person (like Yanni) could be easily commanded to do things, repeatedly over and over again. Lee's left eye cannot see things like a normal eye can, it can perceive the world or objects... only living things, like the body is some sort of entity and the eyes are the path into it. What he would see through his eye is a blood red, an entire world devoid of shape and a sea of blood, where souls are entities within this sea, and their eyes a ray of light into their beings...
